Ron,you will never work them out, just a fact of life.Wife or women.

If it was me,i would have just put it up on the wall and see what happens, she may have left it there

One of my sons gave me a BIG Peter Brock picture, has pics of all the Bathurst winners, etc, framed and covered with glass.I just put it up on the lounge room wall and it is still there after 10yrs.
She occasionally mumbles about removing it,but so far all good

Mind you she does have all her aboriginal pics on the other walls.

    I think it's a lovely scenic photo.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

A Few years ago I suggested installing a spare 7.1 stereo system to our Foxtel box but got a "no" response.

I already had a stereo with Wharfedale bookshelf speakers installed in the lounge but it wasn't connected to the TV system.

Some time later my wife went overseas on holiday so I took the opportunity to install a spare Sony amp and the tall spare Wharfedales as mains, smaller JBLs to the side, rear, and middle, and a spare Sony subwoofer to finish.

It's still there and used every day.

The other day I suggested it was time to put a roof rack on the Defender as I already had two-thirds of the money tucked away and only needed a bit more to buy it, but no, we couldn't afford it. However, that very sameafternoon we could afford to go to the bookshop, which had a 20% off sale, and buy $140 of presents to put away for Christmas...

Same here, off she goes and comes home with a bag of clothes and toys for the grandchild. He has that many toys and clothes,it is ridiculous. In fact there are more kids toys at our place to trip over than the local child care centre.

So today we have to go to watch one of the sons in a mountain bike comp.We forgot the tripod for the camera(my fault)

Anyway the comment is we have paid way to many tolls today, having to do the trip twice. All of $15 maybe,i bet that one bag of toys and clothes was well over $100.
