If we were all as rich as a certain gentleman from western Victoria, we could choose from the fleet, to match our need, mood, weather or neck tie. Etc

So what do you call two P38's?

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

He doesn't have a wife that's why. Just like I said a few posts ago, to quote myself.

"My wife is the reason I don't have a Defender, 101 and a series one"

You should probably add Etc. to the quote.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

He would be a lot richer without his menagerie of orphans

I must be missing something. I think they're really comfortable. As for practical... I sold the practical car to buy the Defender. And I bought a 90 which is really impractical but the best fun ever.
I think our Defender 110 wagon is really practical, certainly much more than our D1 was. The load area is actually quite large. This weekend I loaded George up with 11 bags of stinky goat poo, two wooden pallets, two long pieces of 90mm pipe and several lengths of wood, as well as our bags, several shopping bags, an esky and the wife's dog, and headed for the hills. Couldn't have done that in the D1. And, Ican just wipe down and vacuum the interior. This is one thing the wife and I do understand together.
