I see what you mean, now.
The lower Jack is supposed to be upside down. It's keeping with the down under up over thing. It makes sense. If it were the right way up it would signify one is above the other and not at opposite sides of the globe.

Just slightly off subject.

Regardless of what flag is the official flag of New Zealand or Australia, something I hate seeing is where Australian flags are made.

Mostly China from the Australian flags I have seen.

Also just slightly off subject, years ago the Womens' Auxilary of R.S.L. ,handmade poppies for Rememberance Day......now poppies are imported .
