Not one, but 2 quakes in Chile

The first was reported as an 8.3, but changed to 7.9 at 08.54 17/09/2015.

    M8.3 - 46km W of Illapel, Chile

The second as a 6.7 at 14.10, our time.

    M6.7 - 53km W of Illapel, Chile

The USGS has indentified both as quakes, & not the 2nd as an aftershock.

Check this out. Chile has had 20 earthquakes in the last 2 days, from about 4.5 to 8.3.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

My cousin live in a 14th floor apartment in Buenos Aires, the windows shattered wardrobes doors opened and furniture moved on the floor. It was one of the biggest tremors felt in Buenos Aires for many years.
