Not yet, but have had rough quotes of $2500 Adelaide-Auckland, roll on roll off. Tauris Logistics have an online instant quote setup.

There have been a couple of threads on the subject in recent months. Am sure if you use the search function here you will find prices and a list of the customs forms for both ends. :-)

yes just did the same. need to get some info about bull bars winch, and rear wheel mount. as well as bonnett mounted wheel.

retuning Kiwi no tax, 1985 county to old to tax and no ARDs

just the WOF to check out, so roll off IN AK can you actually drive to the local testing station?

Yes correct re no duty and gst if you are going to live there and have owned it here for 12months. I assume the law is the same as for a local vehicle in NZ, can be driven to the testing station to get a wof without any wof or rego. As in NZ, you must have a current wof to be able to renew rego....but they allow you to drive to get the wof(warrant of fitness, or roadworthy in aussie speak). nzta.govt.nz has all the info.

Also, check out prices with the removal company, Conroys from Hawkes Bay advertise here, and Kent in Adelaide provided a quote and rang me for a chat, they will handle furniture, pets, cars....didn't get a price on cars, so not sure if they charge more than the likes of Taurus, but you might get a package deal with everything. eg, pay for a container and fill it up.
