So that sets a legal precedent now. No one can remove a friend with out the fear of being legally challenged for doing so, unless the have a water tight reason for doing so. Oh how it has got all so more complicated. Hmm could make some cash here. Befriend some one rich, soon as they give me the flick a case of bulling and a nice settlement. Certainly won`t be any land rover owners though as if you own a landy you are soon not rich.

I think if we are going to be honest with ourselves, that was a contributing factor in the bullying of somebody. Unfriending itself isn't an issue.

Yeah there wasnt much detail in the article so its hard to know the exact timing of what happened when, and whilst I dont condone bullying, being upset about being unfriended or whatever it is seems a little trivial to me. Schoolyard behaviour. But I suppose thats where a lot of bullies learn their behaviour, being bullies as kids in the schoolyard.
Does set a precedent though...and shows the ever increasing role social media plays in peoples lives.

There was an episode on X-Files back in the 90's I think, where a lad never left his house, just lived his life on the computer, ordered food etc...and back then we thought "how weird is that"......
