When is a good time to buy
Hi, we are looking to get our first D3, and were wondering when was a good time to buy?
It looks like the main Land Rover dealers are having their annual end of year clearance, how long before the trade-ins hit the 2nd hand market?
Would we be better waiting until the new year to pick up the flood of trade-ins from those buying the new year model?
Is there a sweet time of the month/year due to sales bonuses?

Unless it's a very late D3 with very low km, I don't think most LR dealers will keep them on their used car lot. The one I was with much preferred to offload anything older than 5 or so years to a wholesaler.
The wholesaler usually sells to other car yards via auction so who knows when they'll come onto the market.
Personally, I find the best time to buy is the small period between knowing you can afford a new car & the wife knowing you can afford a new car.
