news just in, councils around australia are being swamped by number of potholes data. the new evoque is said to be the cause.
Came across this intriguing article, about what current Range Rovers and Ewoks can do..er, sorry, 'Evoques'.
Not only can they detect potholes etc, but they adapt the suspension to cope... and because they log the GPS data as well.... it may be used by 'Authorities' to make our roads better.
Of course, nothing about YOU being tracked and recorded... Naturally, if you have 'nothing to hide' you should'nt object or worry about this information being misused... Today, or in the near/distant future, by the present and/or next generation of altruistic gov't officials, business interests... - You get the picture.
The next Range Rover will automatically detect and report potholes

https://epic.org/privacy/location_privacy/ - Seems I'm not the only person concerned about being constantly tracked... Never mind Big Brother, 'Big Business' is sufficiantly scary!

Judging from the number of potholes in this country, I think the authorities might be overwhelmed with data. Imagine the result of a trip up the Cape Development Road with its corrugations!
As long as they are transparent in the design factors of any and every appliance... I see no issue..
If you choose to operate any device/object beyond its designed use I dont think it unfair to expect warranty to be refused..
As long as its disclosed prior to purchase...
You need to catch up. Reported here back in June!
