    Series 2 roof on a Series 3

    Quick question before I start pulling things off. It should be the same, but does a Series 2 SWB hood frame and soft set up fit a Series 3 SWB?

    Basicly yes. Im fitting one on my s2a as well. Long as u get ALL of the fixings and fittings.

    Thanks for the info. Now to find a good canvas top, the one I have on the Series 2 is the original and very average in condition. I plan to turn my old Series 3 into a classy convertible

    Don't forget to fit the "rope rail" from the S2 and the footman loops for the rear canopy traps,(your S3 might have those already) it's a pity that the S2/2a windscreen is not a direct change over to the S3
