On a camping 4wd trip with my brother inlaw "toyota owner of the worst kind". He decided that we did not have enough light so off to town he got an 800watt 2 stoke gen and to expensive lights. the gen was idling very slow and the lights were flickering, so I did a russel coight and give it a rev, a big rev end result 2 blown lights $160 for the pair. was not happy with me. my reply like a toyota good till it has to work hard.

With lap tops I have an old work one. Most of the marking have worn off. I should have gone to auction about 4 years ago. I will be taking it back when the mandatory software upgrads stat as it just can't handle the requirements which is why its now permanently assigned to me for remote access(They will then replace it).

After a couple of Dells, I considered the in car sytems, but decided on a Panasonic Toughbook CF-29.

Expensive, but a good unit, touch screen, mil specs for dust, moisture and vibration resistance.

I run a NEC Versa M540, had it for 10 months (otherwise I was fighting for computer time on the home computer) all seems well so far. 3 year warranty.
