However it may defend against very small arms fire, but a .50 cal will go straight through that plate, which likely isn't armour pate. On top of that they have a very tall side profile where they didn't learn the WWII lessons of sloping the "armour" to effectively increase the thickness of the plate without increasing the weight. After all their insurgent enemy are likely too come from any quarter.
