I also get the above, always, and half my posts get the invalid,_session comeback when posted but will battle on, gives me something to swear about even though I have plenty of other reasons.
Cheers
I used to have the same problem but not anymore.
I wish I ould tell you how I fixed it, I really do, but I have no idea.
The message however is that it can be fixed... somehow.
I had the same problem, until I started turning the McAfee Security Suite privacy service off, problem solved
I know I'm not a big poster like some other members, but I'm always lurking, learning
I think Baz is right, i run XP Pro on everything with SP2 and dont have a problem. Matt
Dunno if this'll help or not.
However at work I run Windows 2000 and I get the aforementioned errors (including "invalid session" when posting occasionally).
At home I run Windows XP Professional and I don't get any of the aforementioned errors.
The main difference I can see (apart from the OS) is that at work we run a proxy server, so all HTTP requests go through there. Until now I just assumed the proxy server was screwing things up when I tried posting & reading from work.
The last time I saw an "invalid session"
was at my grandmothers' nursing home bingo night
