Been camping on the Murray at Torrumbarry for two weeks now I must say the boaties and jet ski's seem to be getting along just fine atm but I did have to have a word with a young girl in her little car going round and round the dirt tracks making lots of dust just said that's a good way to p*&s off a lot of the campers here and she politely appoligized and stopped

    See, it's subjective.
Whoopie My Triumph goes around corners well , My Triumph also has a lot more than sufficient braking oh and i my bike would whoop a hardly in top speed .It would also go further on a tank of fuel than a hardly AND this is all in standard form.
I get the horses for courses thing but sorry not my cup of tea

Most of the Harley riders out our way are accountants and dentists pretending to be bad boys on a Sunday morning, going to the local bakery for a latte!

    Real "1 percenters"...

Keep in mind everyone - that a view of what's unpleasant is subjective to all people. How loud? What frequency? Time? Type of noise? etc etc...

How loud - factory hardly exhaust, excessive plonker factor loud, no measurement required.

What frequency - assume you mean Hz not how often... Don't know (no measurement) but every Sunday

Time - 7am. I can't start a chainsaw or mow my lawn at this time, but a tool on a hardly can work his limp wrist up my suburban street shaking the windows.

Type of noise - boring bland but intrusive (offensive to most) attempt at increasing exhaust volume to mask all other inadequacies about a hardly and the knobs that crank them up around the suburbs, especially early SUNDAY mornings

Sorry Chenz, a bit off topic, but hardleys are the jetskis of the road

What a waste of money, especially in the winding Adelaide Hills.

If they want real comfort and enjoyment but are too precious for a Duke or Triumph, a Goldwing is 10 times better than a hardly and wont shake your fillings out, goes faster, corners better, brakes better, is safer and more comfortable to ride longer, uses less fuel, costs less to maintain, less of a theft target etc. I really fail to see what's good about a hardly...and I generally love motorbikes having only recently stopped riding (Ducati 750SS, poor man's 916).

Hardley owners get really ****ed off when you tell them that their engine would make a good workshop compressor.

Don't ask me how I know this ..............

Was a very nice Triumph parked in my back yard yesterday. Not mine though, unfortunately.
    Cheers .........
