I used to be friends with a Vegan couple in London, but they fell out with us when we bought a cattle property, I cant think what could have upset them
Anyway back in London I once asked them why they were vegan. I said I understood why they chose not to eat meat, killing animals blah blah blah, and I also got why no milk or cheese as being a male cow in a dairy herd is not good and taking the milk from the calf blah blah
I just did not get the eggs problem, why did they choose not to eat eggs?
I said what if the eggs where real free range off a farm where the hens run truly free?
He said he could not eat eggs as every egg was a potential life . I said this was not true if the farm did not have a Rooster, in this case the eggs was a wast product rather like a woman's period. He changed the subject...
It seemed like they needed a drum to bang about something not a genuine life choice. I wonder how many would be meat eaters if the rest of the population where Vegan just to be alternative, just a thought..

To appease both sides we had a Lamb Roast with roast veggies. Was delicious especially the vegan shiraz! Happy Australia day.

I understand being a vegan is a life choice but why is it that when introduced to someone who is one they can't wait to tell you they are vegans.

Next time I am introduced to someone new I am going to say "By the way, I love a good steak and own angus cattle that I have slaughtered and cut up into the cuts of my choice to BBQ nice and rare"

I had to laugh when I looked up the Animals Australia Facebook page - seeing as they were being so vocal about the Aussie Day Lamb, and saw all the posts condemning the eating of lamb and showing little wooly ones frollicking in the paddock. Not enough meat on them at that age

If a vegan is bitten by a deadly snake, will they accept an antivenine?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Love the ad, need more of them just to stick it up the PC ******* of the world because they're all got too much time on there hands

Overall, I don't have issue with people's life choices but I do have a really big issue when they harp on about it. Okay, you're a Vegan/vegetarian and that's fine but shut the **** up about it for cocks
