    Freaks in the big smoke.

I am in the process of moving from Townsville to Brisbane and it hasn't been without its problems. My D3 had super locked itself so I had borrowed the ex wife's Mazda 3 to drive into the city to see if I could get in. On the corner of Mary and Albert Street as I was looking for the turn into the underground carpark where the D3 had decided to stay I felt a bump from behind. I looked in the mirror and saw that a car had indeed run into me, though very lightly. I pulled to the side of the road. Th car pulled in behind me and I got out. In the front was a 17 year old girl on her Ls and her 50 something mother. She may have been a lot younger but she looked old. In the back was a teenage son with more pearcings and stuff hanging out of his face than I have ever seen. He was probably about 16 and 60kgs wringing wet. Their bumper was slightly pushed in. My car was unscathed as far as I could see. The mother just wanted to go and then sonny boy started abusing me because I was driving too slow and couldn't I see the L plates. He then wanted to go to a nearby alley and sort it out. I am 120kg and very fit for my age. I haven't been in a fight since I was a kid as people generally leave me alone. I have played a bit of Rugby and could always look after myself in the ruck. I was gob smacked. This was the same day they were having a memorial in the city for the young lad that was king hit in the Valley. As much as I would really like to get sonny boy in the back alley and give him good kick up the ass I would be the bad person as a 120kg Defence Force person. I asked him if he was threatening me. If so, maybe I should call the police. Mummy suggested sonny get back in the car and leave. All this whilst I have a 2 year old daughter in the back seat. In my frustration I couldn't even find my phone as it had slipped on the floor. I wouldn't have called the police unless he touched me but I wish I had taken a photo of the car. I just want to live in a small country town with no idiots who start trouble for no reason. I never would have allowed myself to get in a physical altercation with this idiot unless my daughter was in danger, but I wish we could tag these idiots for extra training in commonsense and manners.

You should have walloped him for good measure. Politely explaining that the incident was between you and the Learner and the Supervisor, not a backseat muppet!

    Cheers

Thats harsh. As a life long City dweller, I can say that that was probably unusual. I hope they are nicer to me when I'm in Brisbane next week.
    Cheers, Billy.

Carl, that is 1 reason we don't go into the city. Rodger, you back up here for good now, or going back to Vic? Were you there when Carl was there when we were camping in Vic? Billy, you going to call in this time?

Not nice with the youngster in the car. These types are all over the place , Towns and rural. Unless they are high or ****ed I wouldn't worry about them - the more noise they make, in my experience, the less likely they are to get physical.
    cheers,

We'll be staying a while in South Port on the way back, so could be a good chance Mrs HH.

I am here for the next few years at least. I have moved into a house at Springfield Lakes.
