Ah I didn't realise that they had the same over there in OZ......
I hope some of the older ones on this forum remember the " prophets of doom" way back in 2005 AFAIR , when some were saying just like Hanrahan that " peak oil" was here and that diesel would be $2 plus a litre which is probably equal to $3 now.
You know who-you are.
Goes to show that it is hard to predict the future, dare I say ditto climate change.

Paid $1.18 this morning in DiamondCreek/St Helena
Amazing.
When I bought my Prado in 2008 I was paying $1.69/l for diesel.
Today I paid $1.19 in Kilcoy, Qld.

Just gonna hold my breath expecting general retail prices to drop - in line with reduced transport costs.....yeh right
Just a reminder please to not let this get political or post little political jabs in with your posts thank you.
Bit off track, but the science behind climate change predictions is a bit different to economics. Not as many factors that are going to affect the extrapolated results so its pretty damn accurate to predict (relatively speaking) and data is taken over a longer period of time in comparison to modern economics.
Topic for a different thread though methinks, just couldn't help myself.
Sent from my SM-G900I using AULRO mobile app
