    diesel is getting cheap

    Diesel seems to be plumeting
    In downtown Williams it was 106.9 CPL today,fuelwatch says 105.4CPL tommorow.
    Metro average is 121CPL

    It actually should be cheaper because world oil prices continue to fall as a result of a price war between OPEC and the US shale oil producers. The lifting of sanctions against Iran will see it resume supplying the market and prices should fall even further.

    Im surprised it is dropping.The price ALWAYS goes up during our summer due to the so called european winter demand.
    The local roadhouses have been chasing the truckies for fuel,they dont make much on the fuel per litre but make a killing when the gear crunchers raid the bain marie

    Dear in Tassie.

    In Hobart on Monday, on one side of the river I saw the oily stuff for under $1.30,
    but on the other, I saw a signboard (electronic) saying $1.37.
    I did a doubletake on that one.

    I can't work it out. last week I went past Placid Arc roadhouse ( just east of Pinjarra on the Forrest hwy ) and diesel was $103.00 a litre. Meanwhile back in Mandurah ( 25klms closer to Perth it is $1.19 !!

    $1.26 at both Kalgoorlie and Norseman Wednesday, $1.57 at Eucla on Thursday and higher either side of there (no, I didn't have to buy any at those prices).

    $1.10 at Ceduna on Friday and $1.06 in Adelaide Sunday night. Haven't bought any in Vic yet, but might top up today before getting on the boat.
