Despite my pessimistic thoughts when LR was bought by Tata, I actually think LR's hey day is actually right now. Things have never been brighter for the company with numerous products which a booming in sales all over the world. Sure, many will argue that the only real LR was the Defender, and it probably once was the benchmark vehicle, but LR need to keep moving and developing vehicle to be the benchmark, exactly as they have done with their other products except the Defender. Perhaps one day the next generation of Defender will outsell the current market leaders.
    Cheers

Its benchmark status quickly ran out when other vehicles bettered it in almost all area's, its a shame but LR was strapped for cash for so many years it really didnt have the budget to progress the vehicle at the rate at which it deserved.
