I had an economics tutor at uni called Penelope Count.

Didn't like being Penny if I recall properly.

My dad was a teacher. He swears he taught a kid called, 'Ping Pong'?but he also claims he taught a 'Golf Ball' so I'm a little skeptical.

(he did teach lots of kids from overseas though)

In Thailand each kid gets a nickname from their parents. We met kids with names like Cake, Coke and NoName.

I also came across this guy - http://www.news.com.au/world/north-a...daf1cb8057ac9f

    Cheers

I've worked with a couple of oddly named people over the years. First there was Peter Nutt, obviously known as Peanut. He married a girl named Hazel. And then there was a Crime Prevention Officer in Bedfordshire (UK) named Robin Banks

And a share house I lived in in Melbourne many years back, kept on getting letters for a Simon Death. After a while I asked the guy I was living with if that was a serious name, he said yes very much so and his sister was studying medicine in the UK. I hope she didn't marry before the end of her internship :-)

There's a few Deaths in the phonebook here. They all have a ' after the e - so its De'ath. Not sure why they bother though.
