I'm sure they'll be able to get a plate and nail him.
What a totally irresponsible thing to do, I hope they throw the book at him.
There is no excuse for this sort of thing
A Perth cyclist's on-bike camera footage showing an angry driver trying to ram their four-wheel-drive backwards into the riding group*has provoked disbelief on social media.
"My #Fly6 captured this road rage incident today in Glen Forrest," the cyclist wrote, publicly posting the video of the ride he and his friends had been enjoying through the hills on Sunday.
The footage shows a Land Rover, driving in the opposite direction to the cyclists, stop just after they pass each other.
The 4WD driver*begins to reverse at speed, crossing to the wrong side of the road directly*towards the rearmost rider in what*seems an attempt to force him
off his bike or at least off the road.

White right rear door. They'll find the driver.

Geezuz!! Just one more example of idiot drivers who think cyclists have no right to be on the road. I see similar, but not usually as blatant, almost every day I ride.
i wonder what happened in the 30 seconds before the video starts?

I'd say 30 seconds before the Discovery was about 100+m down the road. So unless the cyclists
A) flipped him off
flashed those super powerful headlights of theirs at him (in daylight)
They probably didn't provoke him.
And even if they did, short of attacking him, nothing justifies his behaviour.

I too would like to see the events leading up to the incident.
I'm not saying the Discovery driver was justified in what he did. I'm just suggesting the cyclist may not have been as squeaky clean and innocent as the video grab suggests. I would like to see the full story before I pass judgment.
spot on mick.
if the driver did it for no reason, he should be locked up.
if the cyclists spat at him, i would call it an over reaction.
if the cyclists rapped the drivers wife, i would understand.
i'm sure the full story will come out in time. the police usually arent stupid and will ask for full footage. so far all we have is trial by social media with half the story.
