I remember about 30 years ago Listening to the radio and Evan Green and his missus explaining how they made strawberry milk and chocolate milk by feeding them strawberries etc, it was 01/04/xx
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

What no Dairies in Darwin. That would be the ideal place to make Hot Chocolate. Wouldn't it?
    Cheers, Billy.

Thou shalt not mention that beverage in an Iced Coffee thread.

there was a dairy in Darwin run by the Mayering family when I was there, Kath was a real character.

they didn't produce enough milk for Darwin and Pauls reconstituted butter fat and stuff to make their milk.

are all milk products imported now?

Whilst around Mandurah /Margaret River a few years ago there were iced coffe/chocolate milk in a foil 'bag'.

I've forgotten the name, but it was byfar better than anything we can get on the east coast!

    Although 2 litres on a W.A summers day wasn't a good idea. .....

Paul's Blended Milk. Those were the days - although you did get real milk in the milkshake at the Noonamah roadhouse then.

Late 80s Malanda milk was trucked in and then Rowlands started the dairy in Katherine using (evaporative) air conditioned sheds. That closed around the end of the 90s and now with a railway line it is all 'trucked' in as you say.
    Cheers, Dale
