    Lotto Luck

My Bro is destine NEVER to win sat lotto div1.
In the last 12 months on an Aus Lotto jackpot, one $70million,the other $50million
he has got 6 straight numbers(you need 7).After the second time I told him you will never win saturday lotto(6 numbers).
Well last thursday he got teased by the lotto godz once again.5 numbers and the powerball, once again 1 number short. This win JUST falls within 12 months of the first,so 3 near misses in 12 months
I get regular small wins that do and dont cover my donations to the weekly collection plate of the church of the greater Lotto Godz.
Anybody do OK out of our esteemed Lotto Godz.

Lotto is a tax on intelligence.

Putting Lotto to one side for a moment, NSW $2 Lotteries sell 200,000 per draw I think. Imagine a small city White Pages with all those names and one name is drawn out (plus sundry other winners). One name for one first prize. Out of 200,000.

Now with Lotto and Powerball you are talking about a few names amongst a stacked pallet of those same White Pages. Not good.

Never looked at Keno, can't say.

    Other options?

Pick one horse in a 15 horse race to win there...

And shares? And futures? Well the price can fall, go sideways or rise. Superannuation funds play there because the odds are good - 1 in 3 - and they cover or hedge the moves as well.

Your choice, its a free country.

I only do the smallest pick each week - I think its $2.85 or something. My biggest win has been $20.00ish. But I think its worth $2 for that "If I win , I'll buy myself this and that feeling"- that lasts until the results come in.
    cheers,

I can't get anything on a one dollar scratchie. Lotto is useless. I don't know why I try. Only get a ticket in the big ones

Statistically your chances of a big return are lower in the big jackpots.
