    Ironman products

I've just discovered a shop selling Ironman products that's reasonable close to me.

How does the Ironman brand stack up for compressors and awnings?

    TIA

    Thanks DM.
Would you say their compressors and awnings were on a par with ARB?

I had a bad experience with the mounts for their roof rack cage. I was told it could take the 130 steel spare wheel and tyre but they collapsed and put a nice hole in my roof. They came good and paid for the repairs though

I have their second best(for want of wording)compressor.

I had ARB in my D2 for lockers and used it for tyres as well.

The ironman would be 2-3 times faster , but the outlet manifold gets very hot after pumping four tires up. Don't know if that will be a problem. It is also appreciably noisier.

I have one of their winches and portable compressor. I cooked it on second use. Wasn't impressed at the time, but they replaced it interstate without any dramas. Will see how it goes, milspec and I believe they have a contract to supply the UN for their vehicles.

Yep, the store I came across is in Wadi Kabir, a small affair mainly catering for Jeeps but with a couple of awnings and compressors, oh and the spare wheel trash bag that I bought.

IIRC the awnings were around RO145, trash bag RO30 and the smaller of the two compressors RO65 but I'm guessing that last one.

There are some guys doing ARB stuff but extremely unhelpful and the prices were pants
