I was thinking of a thread about places to eat. Maybe a Noshups section. Want to PM a moderator?

On my recent trip away. Sadly the only decent pub meal was an old favourite.

    Lancelin Beach Tavern

You go there for the view over the ocean, cheap beer (for WA at least) and a burger that takes 2 hands and a jaw dislocation to eat, or what most do is cut it in 1/2 and feeds 2

I drove a few hundred kays to visit the Conargo Pub last week..... Only to find it burnt down a few years ago!!
The best pub for a meal is the one you get to, when you are hungry, after a big drive!!

I'll 2nd the Taralga Hotel. The fella who manages the bistro moved from Sydney a few years ago. He does a top job. Meals are huge, tasty and cheap. The place comes highly recommended by the locals too.

The bistro in the Crookwell Hotel Motel is pretty good too.

The Peel Inn in Nundle also gets my vote. Terrific beer garden with grapevines providing shade. I thoroughly enjoyed the schnitzel with coleslaw and chips I had recently.

Instead of a PM, you could always wait until one of them wanders along and reads this.....

What did you have in mind Mick / Squizzy? ......

The Peel Inn has many votes. Should be made a mandatory stop.
    Cheers, Billy.
    Keeping it simple is complicated.
