    Hopefully not.

I didn't start this thread to start a slinging match; it was to clarify a ruling which happens to involved cyclists. Which has been done. Thank you for everyones replies and clarification.

Mods: you can close this now if you think there is a risk of this thread turning into something it was never meant to be.

    Cheers

I don't think anyone has got upset yet. At least not on this thread. I suppose we will have to wait for page two.
Anyway the question is answered, so hopefully It won't happen.
    Cheers, Billy.
    Keeping it simple is complicated.

Any thread to help clarify road rules is a good one. Too many people get agro simply because they think someone is doing something illegal, when they aren't.

Which page you are on depends on how you have set the Thread Display Options in the User CP.
I find it convenient to set it to 30 posts per page.

While I am nit picking could I ask about the difference between a slanging match and a slinging match?

I the former where people hurl abuse at each other and the latter where they hurl something more substantial?

    Mick's right. I am on page 2.
Wouldn't it be fun if we could do the latter over the Internet.
    Cheers, Billy.

Try overtaking 30 cyclists riding 2 abreast on a windy mountain road and not safely being able to overtake them and them not even having the courtesy to pull over to let other motorists pass them, after having to follow them at a slow pace for kilometers it sort of makes you think unkindly of them.

Umm......drove 200km north of Brisbane today. The few cyclist I came across were doing the right thing following the rules......I reckon if I downloaded my dash cam I would find heaps of motorist breaking the rules.
