    They had Fred Brophy on the ABC wireless today,it was all about his life.
    VERY ENTERTAINING indeed.
    Well worth the listen.

    Fred was around when I was a kid. I used to sneak into his tent at the local show to watch the fights. He had some pretty good boxers but occasionally a local had a win.

    Make sure you download the podcast,it will have you busting your guts laughing.Especially the headless lady and the bloke who had a beard fire,the naked lady with the kangaroo skin merkin too

    Yeah, an interesting character. I have his book titled "The Last Showman" by Sue Williams. Very entertaining read.
