87 years. There is no zero year in the current calendar. For example 15 March 1BC is only 12 months before 15 March 1AD. :)

That's correct. AD stands for Anno Domini. Latin for in the year of the lord. So Jesus was borne in the first year of the lord. You couldn't have a year Zero with him in it.

so the year 2000 wasnt really 2000 years. it was 1999 years and we should of celebrated 2001
