    Congrats
I wonder though should we be funneling this energy into worthwhile projects, maybe write a good book or something. I have posted only 859 posts here, but over 8,000 on a hifi turntable forum that is a lot of typing!!!
Scary when you think about it, at school if you were told to write a couple of thousand words it was doom and gloom, 6,000 posts is a huge number of words, you probably wrote a long novel

I am after some advice on where to get my PYE Savoy Stereophone fixed and what needle to get for my BSR UA70 turntable in the PYE modular 1010.

    Dave , BLCKnight already is/has.

I would feel like a copycat if I did same.

And I'm not as eloquent as he.

Vinyl engine the best place to visit for all things turntable and records. I dont know much about BSR's as modulars are not my thing, but someone over at VE will be able to help for sure and there is an extensive manual and service manual section free which is worth a look for sure. Re service I dont know much of who does what in Melbourne, again someone will be able to advise.
