    Having held boards to be broken many times I know a kick that doesn't quickly "snap" out with all the body weight and everything going in the perfect direction will usually knock several people backwards that are holding the boards, rather than break them. ie: I would have expected the bat to be knocked from his hands at great speed rather than breaking.

    They must be quite weak if hit down near the handle. Who'd have thought it. I just look on youtube and a guy does it (thought there is two people holding the bat, one at each end).

    I kind of want to try that myself now

    I was at my Son's school fete worse than death in the early 80's and this Chinese geezer attempts to break the world record for breaking roof tiles in half. We had to hold them , I think there were two, just above groin level . Towards the end of the second line , where I am standing , he gets progressively more tired and starts aiming a bit low. I have a picture somewhere (must dig that out) of the line and the last half dozen or so guys all ended up in the first aid tent with me!
