Weird or what?

I've been keeping count, and as far as I can work out there are 4 Defender 130 in my suburb.

Another two in the next suburb over.

I reckon you could add another eight Defenders if you include the suburbs one over from me.

Am in in Defender central or what?

Cheers

Simon.

Are Defenders double glazed to fend off aircraft noise to the approach and departure from the airport?

Or is it requiring low range to the Norton Street Italian restaurants and can I park this thing in the spaces left between Blinged Alfa Romeo 33 and 75's ?

rovers

Hi,
Within 2 blocks of my house there are 2 defenders, a county, a stage 1, 2 IIa's, a series III, 5-6 rangies, around 4-5 discos. not to mention there are probobly several old series vehicles in sheds and back yards rusting away. Me and a mate recently picked up 2 IIa's for next to nothing from a guy up the lane.

But then again i do live in stockton!!

land rovers really are everywhere around here.

Mark of a Landrover nut, knows where all the local Landies are!

Personally I wouldn't have a clue where all the local Defenders are, apart from one 90 in the next suburb, a 110 in the other direction and another 110 about 2km away. So no idea at all really.

I grew up in Coffs harbour, we until early primary school anyway, and dad had an old Series III Troopy, which is how i got hooked on Landies, but Coffs Harbour is the same, the place is crawling with them. Matt

There are two old series landys near me but they haven't moved in almost 3 years. Everyone stares at mine so there arn't many others around. I have seen 3 defenders in Yass, an old rangie and a couple of disco's though.
