    what auto tint do I need

    Hi,
    We have just got a little Nissan Micra for a town run around and are looking to get the windows tinted in order to reduce the heat from the sun through the glass.

    We are not worried about the look or the level of tint, just keeping as much heat out as possible. What type of tint should we get installed?

    The window tint people would be the best to answer this, have you asked the experts?

    Most states are similar in their allowed levels of light transmission through the tint. In the NT the darkest you can have on the front allows 65% through and the rear is 85%.

    Ask what the levels of the basic tint are but if they are to those levels it will be very satisfactory in Canberra.
