Take all that to an airport, or actually on a commercial airline flight, and see how far you get.

Words do count, can hurt, can get you in a lot of trouble. Even words that are not illegal. Words that people are sensitive about how and when they are used. Goes a lot further than just the word "bomb" and airports.

Book a standard Jim Jeffries act for a childrens' hospital gig and see if you are less popular than a pork chop in a synagogue. Audiences and appropriateness regarding being "edgy". It matters.

Offend people's sensitivities in societal living (edgy with the wrong audience) - expect backlash. The lines are blurred at times - there are always avantgarde mail workers - pushing the antelope.

And the lines do move - 20yrs ago you could do a loud Ted Bullpit recitation in an airport lounge with no repercussions. Probably 20yrs ago Jim Jeffries wouldn't have survived with his shows.

Respecting current limits generally, and only pushing limits in suitable audience circles - these are social graces, maturity, much to be desired.
a bomb in the airport is terrorism.
a writing on a van is not terrorism.

i doubt most kids would understand jims material.

most people laugh at jims material. yet its also pretty crass. is there a double standard?

all i see this is, people think their right to be outraged and demand change to suit them is greater then people right to be free (within the law)

You are being deliberately obtuse I believe. Borderline trolling. No one is so silly as to mistake what I wrote about saying the word bomb in an airport with having an actual bomb in in an airport.

I clearly wrote about speaking the word. Words that are not illegal at all. Just rather inappropriate in certain places/audiences. Please feel free to exercise your right to do your best Ted Bullpit rendition in a loud voice saying "Someone should blow airports up", in an airport. It's not illegal. It's your right.

Not feeding the troll any further.

You sure about that? Not saying you're wrong but people have been arrested for saying that word in an airport - as a joke. The AFP don't see the funny side of it that's for sure.

    Back to the OP

I saw one a few weeks ago with 05 on the door and something about Brock.
It was actually quite well done.

But there are others that are borderline on being offensive.

They don't worry me at all.Everyone is different.

I am pretty sure it was Bligh,a previous premier of Qld that saw one somewhere and had all their vehicles inspected, etc.Over 80% were found to be unroadworthy, they did seem to disappear for a while, but seem to have returned.
