It could be a time to change plans - when

    Hello All,

When I set out making my plans for today I thought I might test a couple of starter motors and swap a good one into one of my Land Rover Series 3.

Then a couple of things happened to me early this morning:

    1) I have bottled gas at home and one tank ran out while I was having a shower, that equals no hot water - brrr I am not a fan of cold showers. At least I could swap the tanks over so it was only one cold shower.

    2) It took me five attempts to put my contact lens into my left eye - it normally takes just one go. My right eye did not want to be seen (no pun intended) to upstage my left eye. So it displayed its usual level of obstinance and took an uncounted number of attempts before it went in properly. I am solely dependent upon my contact lenses to be able to see correctly.

    3) I went to wash some clothes and the lint bag in my top loading washing machine unclipped itself. The lint bag then fell down into the hollow centre of the agitator. It is not a place designed for easy access of fallen lint bags.

    4) When I went to lift up the stain pre-wash stain soaker powder the lid must not have been put on properly by the previous user. The landing after about a metre drop resulted in a powder mushroom cloud raising up into my face.

Hmmm I think I will go and find a book to read and leave the Land Rover for another day. Yes, I will quit while I am behind; otherwise Murphy might visit me in my shed.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

    G'day Steve,

A much better day today Steve. Well apart from the aspect of progress on working on any Series III Land Rover parts.

I had to go play "nice" with my Job Network Provider today. So I worked on my degree beforehand to achieve something positive. It took me out of the house anyway.

I consoled myself by working on my degree when I got back.

Depending upon what progress I make on the degree I might have a tinker sometime over the weekend. Reward myself.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel
