    Shintoa Round Heater

I picked this up at a Garage sale for a couple of dollars. I am finding it hard to find out much about it. Does anyone know whether its missing its back? - the bit that fed the demister tubes - or was there a version that just heated the cab. Looking at the rear , I cant see a way the demister part would fix onto it?
Any help gratefully appreciated as usual.
    cheers,
    D

Check out photos of one here, looks like another bit at back for the vent hoses etc

Mm. Don't think it's possible , changes bid to $4.50.

Still willing to help you out

Actually should be easy to get one fabbed as most will be against firewall...hence not visable

I've seen some Bosch heaters without the demister attachments and cant see how they are fixed either. Maybe there was a cheapo option (no demisters) and a luxury version. Very little on the web it seems.
I was tempted at $5.00 but the $4.50 is just a bit too shy for me

I have one of these for my 58 FC holden, you are missing the plastic rear section that covers the demister fan and as you said 2 tubes for the vent piping, wouldnt be hard to make .
I can get a pic when i get a chance to go over to my folks house.

Thanks for that mate - Interesting that it was plastic. Yes please to a picture when you get around to it - no rush. I'm intrigued as to how it fitted onto the back. It looks in good nick - fan works - not put any water through it yet though.
    cheers,

Borrow the back, scan and 3D print a number of them, sell rest to recoup costs and pay for more goodies..

Just a thought and maybe a spare to loanrangie ...
