Stage 1... it has leaf springs....
Definitely a Stage 1 Series 3 - given away by:- no flares on mudguards, leaf springs, rear crossmember, heater intake, grille, divided windscreen, two hinge rear door, sliding door windows with vertical join (very early 110 had sliding windows, but with the join parallel to the front edge).
Also, but not really relevant, no Defenders had lift door handles, although pre-Defender 110s did.

Did you notice that the Tomb Raider Defender used in the movie did have lift door handles. I think they are still used when the two-piece door (like the Sereis LR) is specified. You'll note that Larta Croft's Defender doesn't have door tops.Originally posted by JDNSW

You're right of course - see the Wolf military Defender (Although I am not absolutely sure it is called a Defender?)
I thought of this after I pressed the "submit" button, but hoped nobody would notice.

Came out in 4 models (I think) Chassic cab

He replied and said he'd fix the listing which he has now done.
