looks just like one of our runs,, except we dont usually finish in the Pub car park,,
I wonder which model tractors we didnt get?
I took part in a tractor run today. I was allowed in as I said that the series 111 had pto facilities and that it was noisey.
The photos show the tractors heading for the starting point followed by photos "en route" as they say and the final photos are of tractors parked up at a lunch stop.

You're going on the wrong runs Pedro.![]()
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Pedro, I reckon AUST. received every model produced in U.K.,excepting perhaps a couple of Doncaster built I.H. Some tractors had different lights for export, and most to Aust employed larger and heavier wheels and tyres, although interestingly N.Z. favoured a taller ,narrower wheel as per U.K.
dave
NZ's climate and soil conditions are similar to the UK.. We always ran narrower tyres as most stuff is carried, not pulled in the UK.. On really wet crops sprayers run row crop wheels... Better to have two slim ruts with no growth in a thick heavy crop than a very wide rut with minimal and deformed growth. With draft work here wide tyres are fine as compaction is not a huge issue with pre emerging crops (as its never wet enough). Over in the UK, the ground is soft enough that driving across a freshly sown field/paddock will cause the crop under the tracks to struggle to germinate.
Re the tractor models, most of the early stuff was available here that we had in the UK, but things then changed in the 80's and 90's where big American kit replaced the Euros.. That has however changed and the Euros are back in force with high hp front wheel assist tractors that have decent fuel economy.
Here's one that was never available here.. A Neuss built 1455xl... (A 956xl on steroids).![]()
