I'm also interested in the condition of the roads out that way as we only have 2wks before we head out that way as well. The plan was to come home via Wanaaring to Hungerford (call into the Currawinya National Park there) then continue north to Eulo and home from there....it won't be until the 1st or 2nd week of July before we get to that part so hoping its all open by thenQuote:

Debruiser , I went through to Tibooburra via Bourke/Wanaaring a bit over a year ago and there were some terrible suspension crashing washouts which caught me unawares. The road is not well maintained , keep your eyes open. Enjoy it though....I saw filghts of roos out there in numbers I hadn't seen in 40 yrs.......also huge mobs of emus. I'm not sure I would want to do it poor light.

well at this point the trip is looking pretty doubtful! With all that rain forecast! Does anyone live around those parts? got any updates?
All unsealed roads in the Bourke district were closed yesterday due to rain and with the rain forecast for tomorrow and Wed/Thur I suspect they'll stay closed for the rest of the week at least.
