Here in Vic I use British Car Components - no on line website, you call up and talk to a real person and get knowledgable friendly good old fashioned service. . Also Roverparts from time to time - thier website is good as it has the part diagrams listed beside the part description and part number.

There are plenty of good vendors that advertise right here on AULRO. While some larger more expensive parts can be a lot cheaper from OS, there's plenty of suppliers here that are competitive and can get you the parts quickly and with good service.

Importing from the U.S. is an expensive excersize and is cheaper from the UK. With the current exchange rate and shipping, importing stuff has become less competitive for some items. As a rule of thumb whatever the price is on British pounds, the shipping will be a similar price (depending on part - lighter stuff is fine, but anything made of metal generally is) then double that number to get Aussie dollars. Gives you a ballpark price when shopping locally to know what you may be up for.

Cheers guys, will dig through the forum and have a look at these vendors, just wasn't 100% on who was legit and not but I'll check out what you have mentioned above.

If you're talking spare parts, I highly recommend Mario and Heather, Vendors on this site, Roverlord is their handle. Ebay store as well, but a discount for AULRO.

It will give you a good idea or who people recommend on line and state based... it also lists th suuppliers that have a vendor subscription here that offer special deals for AULRO members.

Me too! They're my Number 1 go to for service parts and spares. I don't think I've ever waited more than two days for delivery. Top service.
