I read that story the other day. It seems that the Danish govt. are looking into Kevlar "gloves" for their talons to help protect them.
Earlier in the year I attended a talk by a commercial drone operator who was doing some mapping at the place I was working. He has had several drones destroyed by Wedge Tail Eagles. He reckoned that one in three flights in rural areas would involve an eagle 'encounter'. They don't seem to like drones very much!![]()
