    Gun play on the beach front, Sandgate

    Brother just called, he went for a drive to Flinders pde, a copper jumped out from behind a post, weapon drawn, and told him in no uncertain terms to get out, quick. 3 other coppers had a vehicle surrounded in the middle of the road, weapons in hand. They had their game faces on. This doesn't happen in sleepy old Sandgate. Nothing on the news yet.
    I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

    A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    Talked to my mate, turns out it was a drugged up driver driving erratically on the beach front, nearly hit some people & a couple of bicycles. Police stopped him and he took off. At walking pace. The Police followed on foot and caught him. He jumped out of the car, dived into the water, the car kept going, hit a parked van. The water was too cold, so he came out and was arrested.
