Hi Dave no not Perentie necessarily i was asked a while ago and said i would ask here.

Curiosity i guess, maybe if mine was worth enough I'd stick it in a container though!! 😈🙁

Also be aware that states like California have their own rules and imported vehicles that may be legal in other states may not be able to be registered in Cal.

This is constantly raised on a US based Pinzgauer forum that I go on where a local California company brings in vehicles from overseas and elswehere in the US and there is only a limited run of vehicles that will comply.

So in addition to US federal rules check the State rules of where the vehicle will end up.

I ask because, when we checked a selection of chassis numbers, they came up as quite 'interesting' on the USA data base. An RFSV showed up as
A v8 wagon! You can imagine how that would be received.
