All's well that ends well
There's a literary festival going on in one of the big towns up here. One of the plays involves some men in balaclavas storming on to the stage and terrorising the other members of the cast.
This was being rehearsed in a premises in the town. The members of cast who were to appear with balaclavas donned them in the carpark outside the rehearsal building and entered to the rehearsal area.
Unfortunately a member of the public saw the cast members putting on balaclavas in the carpark and entering the building and duly did their civic duty and phoned the boys (and girls) in blue. The local police duly arrived and stormed the premises and proceeded to tackle the "terrorist". It seemed total mayhem ensued for a while....Anyway all was finally sorted. Some members of the cast will be sporting some very "lifelike" bumps and bruises, not to mention the odd black eye. Seems the PRO for the festival is getting a lot of stick as to why the local upholders of law and order weren't kept in the loop.
Where else would you get it?
