    Motels out of Melbourne

    My Daughter and Family are off to Adelaide just after Christmas - going over to Melbourne on the boat . They get into Melbourne on the ferry apprx 7pm and would like to rest up overnight before heading off. Does anyone have any recommendations for a Motel on the way but not too far out of Melbourne please? I'm struggling to find anything on the net. I type "Motel Melbourne" and I get all these Hotels not too far from the CBD. Any recommendations gratefully received.

    How many in the family and what budget are they hoping for?
    If wanting to stay in Melbourne CBD we use ...https://www.tfehotels.com/brands/ren...n=googleplaces , with free parking and buffet breakfast.

    Close to an hour will get them to Melton.
    Melton Accommodation | Quality Hotel Tabcorp Park Melton South VIC

    A little closer to the ferry is Caroline Springs.
    Hotel in CAROLINE SPRINGS - Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs

    Ballarat would be just over 90 minutes of highway travel to the exits.
    Lots of motel/hotel accomodation available.

    Yep - thanks. Rather than just search for Motels in Melbourne which wasn't giving me much luck - I decided to look for nearby place names and then search for Motels in (insert placename). I eventually found them one in Caroline.
