    Hi,
Storage won't be an option when we do move, it will be the last hurrah so to speak. (Unless I can wangle a realy big shed)

Several friends went the commercial storage route for long interstate/overseas moves, and costs totally exceeded residual value of the items stored.

I'm considering donating tools etc to a local men's shed if I can find one where ever we move to. I think that would work quite well, the two local ones seem brilliant, but I prefer using my own space at present.

Spare camping gear we nolonger use could go to the local scouts, who could possibly use the kayak gear as well.

What does one do with a good quality turntable these days, or a 7 inch reel to reel tape deck?

How about a Leica 35mm copy camera and stand. It will go from about 4 x mag to A3. ? Totally replaced by digital scanners and overly complicated phones.

I need to go bush, perhaps that will fix it!

    Cheers

Mate, I'd be doing a bit of research on that as I think I read/heard somewhere that there's a bit of a demand for them.

Not wrong vinyl is doing well . Quire a few places about that will service and provide the necessary parts. You can also piggy back an analogue to digital pre amp so that conversion to MP3 / digital is possible.

I'd be interested in the turntable. I'm fed up with my non auto job - having to get up each time the record ends (its a hard life) . Let me know if you come to sell it.

    cheers,
    D
