The Aus Key is the problem, if only is supported for out dated browsers, when you have the lastest version of browsers, it seems to not recognise it.
It would be nice if you could just log into the ATO directly than have to link all this stuff to my gov and re confirm everything again & not to mention more passwords to remember!
I think the Bank account details problem for me is that as I go through an accountant I think its his '"trust account" bank details that might be registered for me??????

Hi Andy that make me mad:mad: when there are people out there sit on there bum and do not want to work and they get more than you do. This system sucks so bad. I know my sister in law is having trouble with them, she can not walk as she needs both knee to be replaced they are so bad that it is bone on bone and they are making here to find a job. She did work for about 3months working for a company ring up people for donations for different orgenisation like cancer etc. Why don't they look in to these people,. Had to sit on the phone with them for our son to get his youth allowance back Took me over an hour to talk to a supervisor about the problem. But it is not the staff fault for the time on the phone it is the government that cut staff down. Heather

Well i finally got to get my online thing going. I had to ring the ATO to get the thing set up as this myGov thingo would not cross match any info to prove ID. The AUS KEY was a waste of time as it didn't work on the latest Firefox, yet is compatible with early versions. So it is finally set up. I couldn't trie it out as the $1 stamp and envelope was sent this morning.

I thought my gov and all access to benefits was to keep people from collecting. Reduce the need , reduce the the system and the books balance. Society isn't a business .

If you read my earlier post.... It's not the $4 , it's the fact that I sent the paper copy in and THEY LOST IT, then sent me warnings of non submission of statement and then a follow up letter warning of fines.
At least now when it is electronically lodges, I know they have it.
