It varies person to person. Way too many variables and depends on how they do it. If they have to crack the rib cage like they did with my Dad will be months and even up to a year before any real normality occurs. He had some ongoing issues with the wire being in the wrong position for around 12 months, but he felt a lot better over all.
Minimum I would say at least 2 months if done with a robot and anywhere from 2-12 months and maybe even longer, depending on how you recover and your current fitness.
Way better to discuss this with your Cardiac Specialist.

Understand where you're coming from, however my aim is to elicit the Patient's real-life Experience(s), rather than merely rely on Articles of Faith as handed down on tablets of stone...from Go ... sorry, the Cardiologist.
The last experience with my Cardio. was not encouraging, his manner would have been more appropriate in a Day-time / medical 'Soap'.
As my GP mate observes, 'NO-one sues us, (GP's). - because we listen to our Patients... - "They" don't! (Surgeons etc)'...
( The cap-P is for a reason, it's how he makes his Patients feel... some of whom drive for 2+ hours to see him. - And he doesn't Bulk-Bill.)
The inputs are useful, gives me a range of details and 'reality' to use as base-lines.
The Devil is always in the detail...![]()
