I know everything has to be bigger, better, more capable etc, in order to make profit etc, but the old lines of cars and these buses are just beautiful. Its to bad we go back to them.

I tracked down some more information about the white bus it is a 1948 REO owned by Angvik Auto.
The article was written in Norwegian and I used an online translator - hopefully it comes out okay. My apologies to any native Norwegians' on the forum...:angel: Please feel free to do a more thorough translation - I think the "hard to find a man needed" could be a bit of a mistranslation....
The bus was restored by a group of enthusiasts from NRKK (Nordmore and Romsdal motoring Club). They spent several years on the restoration, and used the bus on many hits the first few years. The ordered parts from the United States, and there were many times hard to find a man needed. For a few years back, it was decided that the engine had to be overhauled as. They managed to get hold of new pistons, piston rings, bearings and gaskets. It could not be purchased had to be made.
Such an old and big rig looks like needs to be run with konduite. The driver must know the bus and use the clutch, giving, brakes and steering so that it keeps. Its a project that's for sure. A Mate down the road fancied it to turn into some kind of workshop?! I fancy the Leyland here - I reckon it looks good enough to drive away (apart from no brakes etc) looks like it would run though.
Sadly , my yearnings outweigh my earnings as usual.
