I think NSW has a cooling off period even after delivery.
Today we bought a Suzuki Alto for a cheap runabout for the mrs. 2013 4 door, brought it home went to pick up the kids from school (3 kids) Then we find out its a 4 seater no middle rear seat belt!!
Rung the dealer he says you didnt state how many kids you had!
What can I do? He doesnt have anything else the mrs likes, small auto hatch (5 seater) Who's at fault here?

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
See this article, re a 1970 XW GTHO that was sold as such, and turned out to be an ordinary Falcon. Court judgement basically said that the vendor had no case to answer, as the purchaser had inspected the vehicle prior to purchase, and hadn't solely purchased off description only.

I sell tractors for a living, and I make sure prospective buyers go through everything and are entirely happy before they buy it, because once they sign the contract they're buying it. That only changes if they are purchasing using finance.. Then they have a 'get out' if the finance is knocked back.
Did you go through everything on the car and have a good look over it, test drive it, get comparison quotes first, or buy blind? I'm sorry to say that I think you have very little comeback.

Whilst selling a tractor to a buyer would you mention that this particular tractor of interest has something missing that all the other tractors have? Then wouldnt you ask the buyer if that lack of function or item affects his/her decision?
Every other small 2/4 door hatchback sold in australia is a 5 seater.
Wouldnt anyone assume this? Why didnt the salesman mention this as this information was pretty vital to me? We mentioned we had kids...
How many people go checking for a centre belt on the rear bench seat?
