    Mushroom foraging- Anyone here?

Interested in seeing what I can gather in the forests, I like mushrooms.
Wondering if anyone does this regularly, and if so, any hints resources for a newbie?

I prefer to forage for my fungi in the fruit and veggie aisle, I have a reasonable chance of finding non-toxic varieties there.

    Hi,
We harvest those we find. They must smell right and look ok and be growing in fields.
Only had one bad experience from some we found growing beside a path in Sale.
They tasted ok, but a bit different, so we didn't many fortunately.
I felt a bit 'off' , but SWMO vomited after about 30 minutes, but felt ok after an hour or so.

Needless to say we tossed the rest.

    Cheers
