Is that a definition of 'slumming it'?

Partly cloudy, 20% chance of rain and 36.

We're in Swansea at the moment for coffee and cake and the ocean on the way up the coast from Triabunna was wild and woolly!! All the creeks and paddock rivulets are running and the 'Little Swanport' river is a Big Swanport river now!!! 😮😮😮

    We have had a change!
    Today it's 26 & raining!
Could have done without the dust storm first though.

Probably won't be able to get home next week now.http://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/smilies/mad.gif

I reckon We're getting more "Severe Weather Warnings" on BOM, & more actual BAD weather, particularly hail storms etc.
Having had a car smashed by hail, I'm particularly sensitive to this most "unwanted" natural event.

    Hi JC,
yep starting to look now, thinking of stretching the budget a bit.
Have you had anything to do with 2010 5.0l supercharged ones?

I saw one in Melb bit over 116km on clock, a snip over 50k.

What do you think? or settle for 2007?

    Cheers

Friday morning on the 6am ABC TV news/weather they forecast a wet and windy three days for Victoria and they got it right for our corner of the state, the north west near Mildura. Late Friday afternoon the skies turned black, old "Thor" turned up the volume and chucked a few sparks in as well, then came the gail force winds, rain, and finally hail. We were on the edge of the hail with only a few random projectiles ricocheting off our rooves, but a few hundred metres to the south you could hear heavy hail clattering on roof tops. Below is a pic of me holding a golf ball with a hail stone beside it. We recorded 30mm of rain, but a mate down the road recorded 65mm, we also lost a few trees, plus a few limbs off others, had an electricity outage that lasted about thirty hours, but in reality nothing compared to some of the devastation that occurred around the district. Roofs ripped from buildings, cars peppered with dents, complete vineyards stripped of every bit of foliage, shade sails ripped from the ground in car parks, and much more.

    Cheers for now,
    Mick.
